Organize a car show, if there's enough interest in your area, and donate the procedes to a local charity or group like the Kiwanas.

You may also consider going to stores in the area for donations, and have a silent auction. "You" can also donate a gift certificate to be auctioned off for "your" time, to be used for yardwork, painting, etc...by the winning bidder.
