Where were you on 9/11/01

I was setting right here, the same desk/office I have now. Wife called and said a couple planes had hit the world trade centers.

My first thought (since I had a drag racing buddy that was one of the fired air controlman, back during the strike) was that those idiots in the air control towers, just aren't qualified to do their job, and their equipment was obsolete.

I didn't think about it as a terrorist act. Watched a few minutes of it on the bosses TV, and went back to work. The magnitude of it didn't dawn on me until later in the day.
