Who is going? I had a great time at the show in late spring early summer. I never been to one of the shows that is Mopars only. There should be some great cars.

I'll be there selling parts. Stop by, I'd love to see your 67 Dart. I'll be driving a blue 90 Dodge truck with a bee stripe on it.

I really wish I could get the day off from work. Its even a nice ride to the track.

I plan to be there with the Dart.

Ahh, wish I could make it back to my ol' home grounds. I lived in East Nassau which is less then 5 miles from the Lebanon Valley and grew up with Howie Commander and a great bunch of others. Used to go to the stock car races before there was a dragstrip there, must have been 1960, wow am I old

I'll be there, and hopefully my brother will bring his Challenger.

Does anyone know what the admission for showing a car is? I was hearing that the price was $35?! Just to show. I know I didn't pay that much last year. I was planning on going but if that is the case, then I won't be going to the show.

Thanks, guess I won't be going now. I understand that there are expenses to run the show but I think that this fee is way too much to show my car. Too bad, I was really looking forward to going up there.
$35 is a rip off!!Show & shine should be $20:bootysha:

Wow $35 to Bring my car :thebirdm: $10 to walk in. I have to work that afternoon, so if I go for a few hours my Barracuda is staying home . Carlisle is $30 for 2 people for 4 days. Mopar nats $65 for 2 people for 3 1/2 days. Guptills only asks for a food donation.

The last 2 times I went to the valley, it was listed as $35 and they only charged me $20. I think they have issues.

Hemming's musclepaloza I think was only $15 or $20 and very well organized.
Speaking of LV having issues. One of the worst messes of a car show I have ever been to was Cars For Cancer last Year. Great cause but the show was an abortion. Sunday night at 7:00 the bands had just started the trophy's weren't given out yet, and the attempt to set the worlds record for most pink bikinis yielded One. A friend of mine e-mailed the promoter several times and to my knowledge they never gave out the trophy's.

I will be there. :glasses8:
It's a fun show to go to and see all your old mopar friends.
I hope to see one of those new challenger drag pack cars.
I guess one was spotted at the valley running at some other show.
SEE YOU AT THE SHOW...........:cya:

I may be going after all. The same question I had was asked on another site and was answered by someone form that club. The flyer was incorrect. The $35 is for those racing, it's $15 for showing, and $ 10 for spectators.

O/K I called LV this morning and they confirmed that it was $35 to enter a car.

This morning I received an E-Mail from Capital Area Mopars stating the following.

Just a reminder to all that gave me your e-mail address at the Saratoga Mopar show that this Saturday Sept.25th is Mopar Day at Lebanon Valley Dragway.

For this Show it is $35.00 to race, $15.00 to show and $25.00 for a vendors spot. Spectators are $10.00 Lebanon Valley handles all the money.

The show has trophies for the TOP 50 vehicles as voted on by participants, provided by Lebanon Valley.

The racing has 3 classes: Street ( Mufflers and DOT tires ) $200.00 to win/RU $100.00/ Semi's $50.00
Non Electronic $250.00 to win/ RU $125.00/ Semi's $50.00
Electronic $250.00 to win/ RU $125.00/ Semi's $50.00

Money Donated by : Innovative Performance Auto
Gavin Parker Landscaping
White Creek Auto Sales
Menands Classic Cars

So I called LV back and asked them again. Once again they said $35. So I read them the e-mail. Then they got really defensive and flustered. Saying I didn't specifically state I wanted to show only. I told them I'm on your side. I was only trying to help, that there flier may deter some people, and maybe it would be better to specify Race or Show. They said basically they can't control who answers the phone, and it wasn't up to her to change the flier.

So bottom line $15 to show Nice people nice cars. Fun day.

Held at a Rat hole facility run apparently by assholes, with Terrible food except the french fries.

They also feature the most disgusting restrooms on the planet.

See U there

Weather not looking too good out there Sat. going to pass and go to n.e. dragway on Sunday..by the way its NOT just mopars racing at Lebanon they are running other classes with brand-x in them so much for that mopars ONLY...

If anyone goes, just be sure to remember it is only $15 to show, as 67Baccaruda confirmed- the people at the gates will ask for $35, it happened to me before.

Interesting to see the 2 flyers below the Mopar day one clearly list the fees for show, race, spectator:
http://www.dragway.com/

The last 2 Mopar events at LVD included a swap meet, but there is no mention of that for this Saturday.
