1974 Duster

Man,...what a facelift from the first pics!!

You did a wonderful job. I think a 12.78/12.80ish is likely with your current setup.

Great job man...I hope mine comes out as close to my goal as yours did....its beautiful.

Thanks! I have been looking at yours as well (I try to check out all the 73-75 Dusters on the board, always had a soft spot for them) you have made some great progress.

Why the fuel pump in the tank? Are you planning to run EFI in the future? Or just looking to avoid vaporlock?

Not an idle question as the next project I'm working on will have EFI with a Megasquirt 3 controller.

Not much work on the Duster this week- Cleaned out the trunk yesterday, loaded the slicks in the back, some minor cleaning. Wire wheeled some 15 x 6.5 Rallyes and painted and I'm going to mount the 24.5 x 8.5 slicks on them today.

Going to hit Autozone for trans cooler hose so I can hook up the aux trans cooler and belts (the ones on the car are 20+ years old from my collection! be a ***** if one crapped out 3 hours from home)

The cooler and belts should be done later on, the only other thing to is wait for the crab linkage adapter to come in from Ebay (I freshened up the 750 off my GTX the other day) and pack the truck with stuff for the track.
