Anybody here ever take a complete new Hemi out of a new Chrysler 300

it's a 5.7 , wow , you're beating me to the mod . Do you have to run catalytic converters with this set up ? Manual steering is a no go for me , if can't be adapted to power I can't drive it .
Hows your coming along ?

No, I won't be running cats. The car being over 25 years old is not subject to emissions testing here. You have to check the emissions requirements in your area.

You can run power steering but you'll have to convert it to rack & pinion as there's no room for a power steering box. The Alter-k-tion kit seems to be the most well though out and designed, as well as most popular but here's where a lot of the expense comes in 'cause it aint cheap! I'm running manual steering and even that barely clears.

How's mine coming? S L O W L Y !

I'm doing a lot of fabrication, making my own harness and modifying almost everything. I want it to be a modern car with a 1970 body as if Chrysler decided to make a Dart today. Obviously, you don't have to go that extreme if you don't want to.
