Eddy dual Quad

SuperBee if I may offer my opinion. 3 cars ago I ran a 69 SuperBee with a dual 4-440, mind you mine was a 4 speed but I did alot of fooling around with that dual 4 to try to get it right. It seems to me the carbs were either 600 or 650cfm either way to make the combo work I had to use a more radical cam than the one you're using. .525" lift sticks in my mind but this was 10 years ago. I was also running the same comp. ratio as you and the big drawback was the loose of so much vacuum that my power brakes were useless. Obviously there are ways around that and the engine ran very strong and sucked gas, but I eventually went back to a 850 holley DP'r on a Weiand single plane and the engine performance and 1/4 mile times stayed about the same and was much easier to tune. Also if you're thinking of running juice the single 4 barrel is much easier to work with. Just me opinion.
