You are forgiven.
One thing I would recommend is to throw the reducers in the trash and not use them. The header flanges are 2.5" and the Reducers in the box choke it down to 1 7/8" so be sure not to use them. The flanges that are in the box are fine you would just need to weld them onto your new 2.5" Down pipes and you could even step it up to a 3" right there if you wanted to.
