1965 Barracuda Resto from Germany

Uli it looks like you have room {to the outside} for a bigger tire/rim. Have you moved your springs inboard? Looks like you have more clearance at the spring than I do even with the offset shackles I have. Your inner fender well will limit the amount of backspacing you can add to the rim so if you go with an 8" rim you probably will have to go shallower (less) backspacing than a 4.5" maybe even less than a 4". I researched every rim I could get info on to try to get a 8" rim to fit but gave up when I found my rims at the salvage yard. My inner fender well is the same distance from my tire as the spring is {see picture, sorry the angle is a little off}. I really want a set of original Torque Thrust D rims but the $ is not there right now for such an extravagance.
