Gasoline in the ear is a whole new kind of pain.

I was changing the fuel filter on my stepsons Dakota today. The line broke lose and I got a face full of gas. Now I've had gas in my eyes, skin and in mouth before, but in my ears, never. That was some kind of painful. I luckily dodged the stream enough as to not get any directly in my eyes but by doing so I put my ear in harms ways and met the mother of all pains. I was not being careless but I didn't wear protection either which was my downfall. Anyways, about $125 for ER fees and a bunch of apologies to everyone that was around me at the time (I think that I made up new cuss words that first hour cause I ran out of all of the ones that I already knew) I felt urged to remind folks that a little protection can go a long way. Please be careful, I would hate for anyone else to have to go through that too...
