Air Compressor Question

Noise should not be an issue. The proper place for a large shop compressor is outside the shop, covered from the elements. That way, it does not distract from anything going on inside the shop. They are ALL noisy if they are inside the shop. I have a small Husky 30 gallon portable I run for right now in the shop. I am working on an old Kellog American 120 gallon out behind the shop. will be up and running this week. Shops are already loud enough without the help of a compressor inside. Since my work injury, I value what little hearing I have left.
