360 converter to a 318

Noticeable, probably. A big difference, I highly doubt it. Close to a aftermarket 3500+ converter, never in a million yrs. even if it was used behind a very torquey 500 cubic inch engine big block. My guess is it might stall 2000-2100 behind the 318 if the 318 is in good tune.
Does that mean your going to send me one? Actually I only mentioned it at all as I was unsure there would be any difference. I havent switched the ring and pinion out yet so it would be pointless to put anything above 2800 in anyway... for now. It's hard because you want to do everything the right way the first time but then you realise even if you did have enough for a D60 with strange axles a new suspension to support it and a hefty 3500+ tc to power it the wife still wouldn't understand why you need $6,000 for something that you already have in a $2000 car... wives..... so silly.
