Easiest/Cheapest way to a 4bbl 318?

They are open chamber heads.(rebuilt 318 heads from areo)
---------------------------------------
If you want closed chamber heads then just get the new rhs cylinder heads from areo racing with the stock valves.1.94/1.60
I think a set is $950 complete.
Then run a edelbrock air gap intake.

You don't need closed chamber heads.
If you don't care about spending money then get the high performance rhs closed chamber heads.
I thought this was a cheap build?????LOL
I know you where just wondering if they have that 302 casting in stock, but if you start spending more and more money ,you will run out of money faster then you think.
Do yourself a favor.
Sit down and write all the part prices down in a 1,2,3,line per line list.
Post it on here, line per line and the prices along side each and every item.
WHY YOU ASK .....because you will find out how fast it all goes away.

Don't built the fastest wheel in town that has a flat side to it.
You have to have enough for a complete wheel or it won't roll to good.
Just trying to be funny.:-D
Ask areo if they have a set of 302(late 80's) or-- 920(1967 heads)--in stock.
Hey you never know, but how much more are they is the question.
Just do the list \\ this is for your own protection.
Man ....your a typical hot rodder......LOLOLO

Yeah, yeah I know. When I think I have my mind made up on something I start to think "Well, if I do that then I SHOULD do this...what does another $1,000 on the good ol' plastic really matter." :)

Ok, so to summarize again:

AeroHeads (or use my current ones with some upgrades) $400
Holley 670 (already purchased)
Edelbrock Performer (hoping for a deal) $150
Cam & Lifter Kit $200
Headers (assuming I get the ones that fit) $400
Exhaust (guessing here) $350

For a total of $1,500. And if I stay with my $2,000 budget, that gives me about $500 to spend on other things.

You think $500 will be enough enough for gears and a posi unit for my 8.25?
