Ram tranny problems
Well guys the tranny swap is on day number 3. I've had to pull it twice and might have to pull it a third time. The clutch will not disengage. I bought the set up from a 95 1 ton ram that is now going into a 98 1500. Nv4500 is possible I guess. Driveshaft lengths where fine cross member was good. I wired the park/neutral saftey switch the the clutch saftey in the pedal. Crank/flywheel sensors were different(auto was longer hitting the flywheel). I had to buy the 98 master to bolt into the firewall but bought the 95 slave. Brand new clutch disc pressure plate and throw out and pilot bearings(had to buy the pilot bushing too). New fork, pivot, and fork retaining spring. I can't get it into gear unless its shut off then I start it and I creeps forward when started in gear. I may have to buy the 98 slave with it being a different part number like the master. If that doesn't work could it be a bad pressure plate? Any input helps. Thanks guys.
