What would you consider ample rod and main bearing clearance?

I've got .001 mains and .0015 rods

I typically shoot for .0025 rods and .003 on the mains for street performance and more for racing.
I've used .0035 on the rods and .004 on the mains in applications that need it. THAT's when you need VOLUME!!
