Ideas on 360 build

I'm actually wondering now if I might be as well off just stroking the 318,I wouldn't have to buy a cam,intake or carb.The heads I'm not sure of,I just bought the car and the guy claimed to have 340 heads and cam but I hardly ever believe anything when buying a car.Probably sales talk,but possible I guess.I have some 360 heads on an old engine in case I need heads.A 318 stroker might not be that expensive if I didn't have to buy alot of other stuff,so that might be an idea.You guys here with a 318/390 stroker,nothing to wild,What kind of power are you putting out?
