reprint article for sale 142 MPH slant six Bonneville

Anyone know if Wilford Day is still alive? I know he lived (or lives) in Saint George, UT and it would be cool to meet him. I am down there about once a month anyways for work.
There is a pic online of a red slant as a coffee table, that is in his living room and was the motor that he set the records with.
