Best one I remember was at the GCA RADAR shop at Miramar, the Blue Angels were practicing about 72? Bear in mind they were flying F-4 Phantoms back then---put enough engine on a brick, it'll fly. Two would "corkscrew towards a third, also rolling. With wings vertical, they were not more than a wingspan above the ground.
