Snow

Drove out to Davenport the first winter (2008 ) we were here.

So you where during the record year of snow fall. I almost gave up on trying to find a place to put the snow when I shovelled. That was the same year I saw hwy 2 closed due to drifts.

Do you commute into Spokane?

Almost 13 years now, every day (minus weekends and holidays). I work in Airway Heights, south on Garfield (intersection where the KFC is) at Garco Building Systems. 28 miles of bliss, one way. :-D

Wind can get pretty bad, usually blows across the road so you get to fight it as it trys to blow you into the ditch. Couple of winters ago saw a car just take off to the right when the wind hit it right while they were on a patch of ice. He didn't save it. Fun stuff.
