I may just be a young kid, but there are a few things I am going to keep as long as I can. My grandpa passed away when I was in 6th grade, and he was a major mentor to me. I miss him every day. Of course I can't rival some of the other posts here.

An envelope of pictures my grandma gave me after my grandpa passed a way. They show all of his cars, including his hopped up Olds from the '50s, a Buick they drove on their honeymoon, his Buick he ordered brand new (in "velvet black" with Cragar look-alike wheels), and all of his truck from the '70s. (He was a GM man.)
My grandpa's traveling clock from when he was in the Air Force Reserves during the Cuban missle crisis. Finally his old Homelite chainsaw that cut down many a tree. It hadn't been started since '05, and earlier this year it started on the 3rd pull with fresh gas. 8)

an 1891 carson city silver dollar my dad gave me at my grandmothers funeral
and some of my grandfathers tools with his initials on them

Left fender moulding from my 1st car, a 70 Coronet 440 that I bought in 1984 at the age of 12 with $20 of my paper route money. Car was a real POS, but I still have that moulding, LOL.

Also, a green Tonka farm pickup that I've had since I was about 3.

Still got my Ibanez RoadstarII Cherry Sunburst. I've had since the early to mid 80's. This pic was taken in the early 90's. My last rock and roll band.

When the new cars were on display at the local shopping mall in 1972 I went down there and collected literature. Here's a couple that you guys will be particularly interested in seeing. These are my keepers. I had a few extra copies but I sold them so these are not for sale but I thought that you would like to see them.

the acoustic was ordered for me when I was 9 years old back in 1964, played it for years. the case is original.
the electric is from 1962, I found it at a rummage sale and bought for 12 bucks, I played it for awhile then started a restoration that is still waiting for me to finish.

Does my Dart count? I've had it for 18 years now. About the only thing left from my youth.
