408 Stroker

Hello all, newbie here. I have a question regarding my build. I have a 360/380 crate and I think I spun a bearing or have a rod knocking. Anyway, I ordered a 408 stroker kit from Indy and a set of Edelbrock heads. My question is do ya'll think I need to use the roller cam that cam with the engine or try a new roller from Competition or anywhere else? The pistons are forged and Indy said with the heads it should make for right around 10.0:1 compression with the stock block. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
