Best intake/carb for 360

Yes, it'll work very well. The intake is right in the driver RPM range. The ports are a slight smaller than the heads port windows. This is not an issue but will help with a high velocity intake charge.

The AFB carbs are very good everyday driver carbs. You'll bolt it on, maybe jet it and forget about it. (Spray brake cleaner on the primary clusters when dirty)

This combo will deliver excellent drivabilty, mileage and very reasonable power.

Other intakes like the OE 4bbl are cheaper. Power output is about the same.
The Weiand Action Plus is a contender to the Performer and a fine intake.
All 3 can be found cheaper used.
