You have to remember that the motor has to run well even off boost or it will be real lazy. I run small a 340 in my turbo dart with twin 60mm turbos with a A/R .96 and it has no trouble getting on boost. It does have lag if you run it on the street driving down the road. Even then the lag is welcome since it busts a serious move when it does come on boost and the lag allows the car to accelerate some making the power more usable (if you have the balls to drive it sideways at over 100). I built a 360 twin turbo with T04s and .96s it has almost instant boost response and is wicked (more like stupid) on the street. I have tried the dual plane on a turbo motor and it ran poorly with horrible distribution problems. Its not just equalizing the boost, the air is moving fast through the plenum and runners so the dual planes have distribution issues on N/A motors so the turbo stuff is worse (so is nitrous by the way). I only have my own experience and head scratching to back up my info so there may be someone out there that has done it. I would be careful on TTFs there is some seriously WRONG info floating around as any forum does.
By the way "Looking good Louis! Feeling good Billy Rae!"
