8.8 rear in my A-body. I cant be the first!

I have asked this in another thread as well but someone watching this thread that has done the conversion may be able to answer it

I have bought 2 of these diffs and one thing that also worries me a little is that the extra short side axle that you use will be turning in the opposite direction so wouldnt that weaken and stress that axle? its not going to stop me doing the conversion but i was just wondering about getting a brand new axle instead of using a used one
