This is how I did my pan. Cut the bottom off the sump, and then weld in a strip of sheet steel about 2 inch wide. Instant 2 inch dropped sump. Extend the pickup to the bottom, and run 1 qt low on the stick. Top off with a windage tray. My next motor will also have a dual crank scrapper.
