Rims and tires question
If the suspension is stock, stock hight or slightly lowered you might be able to go 8" with a 4 1/2" back space. I have a 67 and there is not much room back there. Now this is if you want something to fit and not rub when you have 2 or more in the car.I run 15x7 with 4 1/4 backspace and have no issues.16"rim is no problem. Never tried a 17 or 18 on a Dart. A 27" high x 9" wide tire will fit. 28" will hit at the front of the wheelwell unless you lift the rear. A Duster (Demon) you can go 9".Maybe 10" I had 18x9 with a 4 3/4" back space and they were very close to the springs. They did not rub and the car was lowered 2". Now this is just me but I hate when tires rub.
