Here's the low down. 74 Dart Sport, pushing about 450HP, 8 3/4 with either 3.73 or 3.93 gearing. Unsure about tire size right now, I had a size written down that I knew a couple of other A body guys where running but can't find it right now. Basically I am going with a tire size that will fill out the tire well nicely. Basically all the work I have done to this car so far I been building it for street/strip use. I am looking for something that will ride good on the road but will still rake good at the track. I was originally considering Caltracks but there seems to be much debate over this system. No doubt they are good for track but how good are they really for the street? I guess I need to lean more to the street side considering I drive it more on the street than I race it. I think if I went crazy with to stiff of a suspension I will be disappointed with the street ride.

I'll throw the sugestion of Mopar XHD, they are in between stocks and super stocks. You can get them through Mopar, Mancini, or JC Whitney are the cheapest, Whitney uses the same spring manufacturer as Mancini does very good quality. Thats just a sugestion plus it will help put your thread to the top of the website.

I run SS springs with Caltrac traction links w/adjustable shocks on the street.
Seems to work just fine. I have my shocks set for racing most of the time, so the street aspect is a little loose. I'm sure if I changed the settings the street ride would be a lot better. In your case, you would change them to race setting whenever you go to the track.
Hope this helps.

You can employ Caltracs with any leaf spring you wish. They have literally no effect on normal street driving, don't even know they are there.
