Crank

I believe it was 67 and the 340 cranks are drilled through the rod throws to help offset the heavier rods they used and keep the same counterweights. They can be drilled by crank shop if not already. I bought a forged crank for a "340" from PAW a long time ago. Casting numbers didnt jive so I called and they said they used a 318 Poly forged crank and drilled it to 340 specs. I only paid $149 so I didnt quible. I broke 2 flexplates on that motor because my 65 hub was too small for the register (I guess they drilled it for a 340 in both spots) early converter to later crank bushings are available now.
