Broken Diff

My buddy has a 493ci 440 with a solid cam,aluminum heads,Victor intake and 1050 he broke his gears on the ring gear. But he went from 488s to 430s and hes been fine his car is a street/strip car also..

So I would say a 8 3/4 would hold up to a 493ci with 600-650hp..
