i would leave the rings alone,the chance that the rings or pistons,cylinders got scored is slim to none. i wouldnt even pull the pistons out. i would just pull the crank and have it checked to see if it needs to be cut,and put it back together with new bearings.leave the heads on also,if you need a hand let me and adam know we are only 45 minutes away....
