That thing had a pile of metal go through it. Remember that the rings were being lubricated by that metallic oil as well.

When I prepped the motor it was spotless..... After the cam/lifter failure it's loaded. Like I posted earlier, after I totally disassemble it I'll know for sure.

I'm just sooo annoyed at the thought of replacing so many new parts.... and I know I might HAVE to.
