Which Tranny Is This?

It is definately a 904. Because it is behind a 360, it may have a 5 friction high gear drum aka [front drum] and it may have the low gear set as well. What does this mean??? you ask?? Many mopar transmissions have 2.45 first gear ratio, but the low gear set has a ratio of 2.74. This allows the car to accelerate quicker in first gear. This gear set is many times found in "drag" race cars with small block engines! Oh and one more tid bit, this trans is often times refered to as a 999 [heavy duty 904]
