simple 360 ET update
As per my engine bulders request (lol) I'm posting an update on my budget 367 motor. It's in a street car 74 Duster that get's a lot of drive time and at least 20passes a year (counting the track passes)
the setup is:
367 c.i.
9.95:1 forged SRP floating pistons, mildly ported X heads with stainless 11/32" stem valves and beehive springs, comp solid cam XS282S 520/540 lift, 244/252 duration @.050, crane gold 1.5 roller rockers, Holley Strip Dominator, proform 750DP carb,MSD box and dist., Stock crank, 340 rods, windage tray and oil pan, std. volume pump. Trans is a 727 with Rev. man. VB and a 3500 stall 10" converter, rear is 8.75 with 4.56 gear. Best pass this year was 12.24 @ 112mph an pump gas through mufflers on a drag radial, track wasn't good and had one bad front shock so 60' times lagged.
Over winter It gets more converter, a victor intake and possibly Hughes 1.6 roller rockers, then we aim for 11's on motor and spray 125hp to whatever it decides to run on giggle gas. Thanks for reading, my builder/friend will appreciate this :toothy10: CP Motorworks of Janesville, WI made it happen and got me movin!
