Cheapest ways to increase power

Head work. Get a valve job and mill it .100, then blend the bowls and clean up the runners at home for free. Slap a SuperSix intake on that beeyotch (there's an intake and carb on ebay right now for $200) and you'll be surprised at how it wakes that 225 up.

The best part is that if you get a spare head (ebay, junkyard, pay shipping and I'll give you one for free), you can drive your car while you get the work done. Then just bolt it all on. You'll still have a bone stock bottom end and your original head to do a kick-*** high-budget build when you get your coffers full.

Then you'll want to talk to Charlie_S or 66aCuda, (these two fellas really took the time to explain some good theory and offer tips when I got into slants). There are a few more guys who can help out and who make me look like a blind, one-armed /6 retard. slantsixdan comes off as a condescending butt nugget sometimes, but that guy really knows alot, especially little details that were probably only put into print once. Seriously, he's like some kind of savant or something.
