Cause they think its "cool" and the majority of the viewing audience doesn't know a chevy nova from a ford mustang. And the majority of the people who do, like Chevy. So their major audience who actually knows anything about cars will say "Oh, well, atleast it was a 4 door useless old junky hulk anyway. You have to get the fact is, most people nowadays are so ignorantly set that anything older than 1990 is a complete and total piece of junk. I met a guy with a '69 Runner a couple months ago down here and a lady walks up while we were talking and the only questions she has to ask are "What year is that car?" and "Oh, why haven't you scrapped it yet? Any car older than 10 years old is a piece of junk." Its like people forget these cars are classic. Unless they are a Camaro, Mustang, or Corvette. No one seems to know what they are unless they are a car person.
