For Sale:
1972 Dodge Dart Swinger
225 Slant Six, Column 904 Automatic, 7-1/4" Open Rear-End
Runs good, 1bbl carb was recently rebuilt.
F8-Green Exterior, Green Interior w/ Split Bench
Black 14" Rallye Wheels, Center Caps & Trim Rings for Fronts Only
Front & Rear 9" Manual Drum Brakes, Manual Steering (Factory power steering, but has been converted.)
Factory A/C Car (All underhood parts have been removed, the heater box and vacuum controls are still intact, but the heater core box has been removed & bypassed-included with car.)
The Good: Car runs good, shifts good, and has been maintained well under my ownership. Front floor pans were recently replaced and seam-sealed, but need painted. Newer starter, brake hoses, distributor cap & rotor, battery, U-joints, and U-bolts. Tires are in perfect condition mounted on 5x4"-bolt pattern Chrysler Rallye wheels. (The slot mags pictured have been removed.) Car was repainted in factory F8-Green by a previous owner. There are two 6x9's in the rear package tray, and both work. Recent tune-up with new plugs and several other items. The slant six has a late-'70s head with hardened valve seats so it can run on unleaded fuel. Not a speed demon, but is fun to cruise in. Exhaust is a glasspack muffler that dumps at the rear end. All the locks and windows work.
The Bad: The body does have problems, particularly in the lower quarters and c-pillars. None of this is horrible, but it will need to be addressed sometime in the future. The repaint is not of the greatest quality, but if you don't want a show-quality finish, it will be fine. Interior wise the front split-bench needs new foam and recovered, and there is no carpet. The new floor pans need to be painted as they are still bare steel. The AM radio doesn't work, neither does the dome-light. Windshield washer needs a new pump.

This is a solid, fun old MoPar A-Body. Not a show vehicle, but defiantly a fun first car or cruiser.
I have a clear Ohio title in hand. All VIN plates match, and it is good to go.
