What older Dodge pickup truck would you get if you could choose?
I had a '79 Dodge truck, then a '76, and now I have a '91. All three were LWB 1/2 tons. Here's my take on them. They will absolutely run forever. I sold the first two because the bodies were falling apart, literally. Now my '91 is starting to get dilapidated and wore out. Driver's side window regulator failure is common. Door doesn't want to stay shut so don't lean on it when you're driving. A friend fell out of mine (must admit, he was an idiot anyway). Many times I've come walking out of a store and there's my truck door standing wide open. Oh, also- there's at least a 1/4 turn of play in my steering wheel, but the wheel always seems to pull to the right so it's no big thing.
Next I'd like to have an old 50's or 60's model Dodge truck. not restored but still straight and running. I bet they are a lot more solid. I know my Dart is.
