Hemi Yes or No

My brothers and I had a motorcycle (Honda.Yamaha,Kawasaki) dealership in the '80's....It was a blast....bikes were cheap....loans for bikes were readily available if you breathed(Congress must have took notice for their home-loan program)...everybody had a good paying job...we were young and indestructable...oh well....anyways I live in Findlay,Ohio...just south of Toledo about 35 miles...did you check out the 71 Hemi Demon build on this thread by Hemi Mark...he's a buddy... I put a 528 crate motor in his Duster over 12 years ago....realitively mild..but I can feel that longer stroke in the pedal...just can't rev as fast...like my 472...thats the biggest reason I went BACK to a 426...it revs sooooo much sweeter....hard to get a big cuber guy to admit it though...all about size/big cam/ect....also Hemi Mark has the 850Cfm single carb...works good...but I'm partial to the 2/4bbl ...not just for factory look ,but you basically run on the rear 600cfm carb(nice and crispy) until you stick your foot in it and progressivly(hate to use that word) open all 8 barrels...no big deal to tune...since you are primarrily on the rear carb..... it's like tuning your 383 Roadrunner.....

Yea I like the sound of a motor that revs, they sound so much crisper. I just want to have a little respect from the BBC guys when I pull into the parking lot. It will take a pretty strong motor to do that around here.

Where was your dealership we have been around along time ourselves. 30 year aniversary this year. We have Yamaha Kawasaki Suzuki Polaris Victory. I had a Honda dealership in Kississimmee in the late 90's but sold that one. I'm probably the only guy around here that want's $5 gas. LOL
Then I could afford all the hot toy's for my car.
