68 Cuda Formula S 383 4 Speed $2500 MD
It is a real big block, 4 speed car, but being a 68 Chrysler doesn't have the build card due to the fire and without that or the fender tag there is no way to get a build sheet. I was also told that 68 did not have the numbers stamped into the radiator support or trunk edge and I don't see them.
As far as the engine goes, it has no stamping along the pan rail so I have no idea what it came out of. I haven't tried to start it, nor would I since it's been sitting so long. It may run well with a little coaxing, but you should assume it needs a complete rebuild and if it doesn't it is a bonus.
The transmission is also missing any stamp on the pad, there is a picture of that above. The guy I got it from said it was a Hemi box, but I seriously doubt that.
Just for the record, I paid more than I'm asking. I found a hood for it and a set of seat cores which go with the car, but I sold the six pack that came with the car so I'm just breaking even at what I think is a fair price. There's money to be made parting it out, but I sure hope someone puts it together. Like everyone else I'm not in this for the money, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do.
The car is in the north east corner of Maryland if you want to come look at it.
