Engine Compartment redo
Cowl is spot-welded in. No way to remove it. I suppose you might be able to get to much if not all of it if you fully disassemble/remove the dash.
I used Rust Bullet on mine. I'm not overly happy with the end result, but it takes care of the engine compartment until I paint the car, which will be within the next 5 years. at that time, I will sand the brush marks that didnt level to a smooth mirror-like surface, and paint it again, with the exact paint that is going on the car. I got the rust bullet because I knew I could top-coat it when I paint the car.
Well, I've finally got the wiring back in. Moving to the transimission next. New Seals/gaskets and maybe a coat of clear paint. Then need to pick up a 10" clutch set and get the flywheel turned. At which point I'll be ready to drop the engine back into the car.
