scroll across the photos, there is a close up of the joint lines on the factory cast 2 piece intakes, the joint lines on the face would be sealed by the mounting gasket,, the joint lines on the exterior can be sealed with paint as mentioned previously.
On the M-1 intake,,the attachments are throttle brackets of some sort that were put on by the previous owner, bolted on to the EGR mounting area, left it on till I get ready to use it
