steering column dissembly question

I'm working on a '67 automatic steering column and cannot figure out how to detach the outer column from the steering head.I have a '68 tech manual that shows an allen head screw behind the shift lever (once removed) however the '67 model is different or I'm missing it.

Also where can I purchase the tab for the reverse light that is non-reusable once removed? It is located near the floor column support
