Brake rotors plus other items for a 75 Valiant
I ordered thru a local family run auto parts store that went with Napa last year after 62 years family owned. This or die vs Napa.
No Pick N Pull used brake crap for me, I used my discount at this now a Napa, ordered rotors, bearings (SKF upgrade) seals, pads, shoes plus wheel cylinders. When into the calipers i'll find out if rebuild or replace them. The pisser I was told both discs are the same but different boxes, no as one disc is a "Napa Premium" the other box is "Napa" the disc made in Venezuela, this rotor is already at .986" vs 1.005" the other rotor specs out.
With rough machine tooling marks plus no grinding of the disc faces, this POS is going back being .019" thinner plus looks like made in CHINKA.
This was why I was asking about quality replacement parts my first post.
The manual master cylinder i'll see after the brake job if it stops then decide on the booster master swap. Poly strut bushings on order, left side missing due to the PS hose leaking. Again PS hoses both by Gates ordered not CHINKA crap again. The 4 1/2" wide rims by 14" must go if I knew what fits without walking in circles, I bet 7" wide in 15" would be the max for rim and tire clearance but off what Dodge / Chrysler / Plymouth years and models???????? This I bet this will be another battle before the love hate thing begins.
