Thanks , I checked connector to wiring diagram looks ok. I dont get why i have power on all the wires. I even tested the switch with an ohm meter and it seems to turn off. i unhooked the switch unplugged the wires from the motor ran a wire from the battery ground to the body of the wiper motor than i took a jumper directly from the battery positive and touched the connector on the wiper motor connector block one at a time
no luck. maybe my new wiper motor is no good?

Are you saying you have all hot wires at the connector with with the switch out? or...all hot at the wiper motor with the switch in, but turned off?

I have the 67-76 Dart manual and you should have only (1) "hot" power lead coming "into" the connector at the switch, a (brown wire "without" a tracer). This brown power lead comes off your ignitions ACC which also feeds your ACC side of your fuse box. The remainder of your (5) leads should have "no" power unless connected to the switch and "it's made" to move the wipers or use the pump of course. OK, from the connection switch under the dash, your (4) leads go directly to the wiper motor and (1) go's to your wiper pump. I think is what you have is a short within your bulkhead connector or wire run somewhere.
If all these wires are "hot" as stated, you may want to do a continuity check (battery disconnected) of the other (4) wires to the motor itself to ensure that the wires are not fried and shorted. If you do have a short...you may have fried the new motor itself without knowing it due to shorts in the power runs...maybe not.

As stated, If you took the switch out and disconnected all the leads at the wiper motor itself and did checks on the motor and got nothing at all (not even a humming sound) I would suspect something is wrong with the motor.
With your meter you could check the motors continuity yourself by probing the motors leads to ground to see if there's an open circuit on the armatures coil. At any cost I would suggest you return the motor or at least have them do a bench test and have them get you another one. Let us Know how you make out or PM me.
