What are these and what do they do?

It's basically just a switch that closes when vacuum drops below a certain level. I used 1 back in 77 to trigger a home-made water injection system to quell detonation on a 12.5-1 383 in my Roadrunner. I've still got 1 or 2 out in the garage somewhere.
