On the cheap freindly comp?

sounds like fun, but; the handicap must be figured first. Take my 70, on jackstands since 1987. Stock 340, iron heads, but has a Dana and 4 link. It won't compete with strokers, etc. It will compete with other 340's. Like other guys, laid off, no $.
What are the safety rules? That adds weight,
I like the idea; guys coming together, to race, and bs. But HP to Weight won't work, as we are all modified. Maybe a dial-in? And run against the tree?
