Anyone know the reasoning behind this? I kept telling myself I need to attend it one of these days. Well it appears that for the last 2 years they haven't had them at Pacific Raceways. Did they move venues? Or just stop doing them altogether?

Are you talking about the "Nationals" they had a couple of years ago at Pacific Raceways? Apparently it was a flop and they decided not to hold it again. I guess turnout was lousy, and probably weather considerations. Haven't heard if they'll try it again somtime.

Yeah, the Mopar Nats. Bremerton is a bit of a drive. YouTube is alot closer.

Gonna have to network for parts a little smarter instead.

There is a the show in Everett in a couple of weeks, with a swap meet (that is if I understand correctly that you were looking for a Mopar swap meet). Used to be a good swap meet, too, before they moved to the Triple X a couple of years ago. Not sure how big the swap meet will be, pretty sure this is the first year they will have it at the show again. Just a thought.

The turnout really wasn't that good...Pacific Raceways did a crappy job promoting the event and the weather didn't cooperate very well. To be fair though, Pacific doesn't have a Chevy or Ford race either this season...Just the 12-race ET series, the divisional, the National event, and a bunch of high-dollar bracket races. Go out to a regular Saturday night E.T. race there and you'll see some really nice Mopar racecars...And even see my 17-second slant six Dart defend my points lead ;)

I was surprised how lousy the Nats thing was when you have the Bremerton Raceway Mopar Drags that RULE!!!!!! The turnout never dissapoints.

The last year they had it it was billed as Mopar only. However, they used it for a rain-out day and allowed in other sportsman racers. They ran the brand x first and by the time the Mopars got to run the weather turned to ****. Only half the Mopars got to run. It was poorly organized and in typical Pacific raceway fashion all they wanted was your money. Most of us on the east side of the state, never again.

How was the Bremerton Mopar drags.

A few guys from my area go to it.

We need a good one the the Pacific north west...I'd rather stay here than tow to Vegas!

yea last years mopar drags were tough to stomach, but hey they did what they could do. It poured buckets the night before and they couldn't get the water to stop seeping out of the track and then they couldn't prep more than half the track. 09 was good though.

If you want to race with a bunch of other mopars, we have a mopar drag team that races 13-14 times a year. you only have to race when you want and it's quite fun beating the fords and chevys. Hell last year was our 2nd year in exsistence and we took first place.

think about it.

I would rather go to Emerson than pacific any day. Their mopar event has a good showing. I will be trying to get my car ready for a few runs out there with the mopar drag team.

we have quite a few members of the MDT that come from marysville, and not just the mopar team but the chevy and ford teams have quite a few members from there also.

just remember the first race is the 23 of april

Yea. I k ow. One of those Marysville members is my father lol.

Hey! I'm still waiting for the DNA results to verify!!! :D

The Bremerton Mopar Drags is good, a lot of cars but they combine it with other events so we have to wait our turn. Now the weekend of July 24th and 25th in Woodburn OR will be the place to be. Best swap meet around I think, and all Mopars all day on Sunday. I'm a new Mopar owner as well as old, and on Saturday the day before the Mopar drags/show the track holds a bracket racing event for the new generation Mopars. That track is the greatest.
