One more thing, When you make the cut on the axle tube, go in further then I did by at least 1/4" to 1/2". It will make it much easier to center/square up the end when you weld it back on. I did it right at the edge where it tapers down, it would have been okay but the saw took off just a touch to much. It made the end slightly smaller then the tube your welding it back to, making it hard to center. It turned out ok for me but it might make life easier to do it this way! :grin:
