Bottom left corner indicates scheduled build date month and day.

I've read that 1) the early 61s had only the 170. With this car having all the other options including the automatic I'm betting it would have gotten the 225 if it were available at the time and 2) the black paint around the headlight openings was discontinued at some point during the 61 model run.

The VIN will tell all but at the tiime I looked at the car the keys were MIA. The seller has them but had misplaced them. I'll be able to get inswide the car later this week.
