went to the dyno

Finally put my cuda on the dyno yesterday. After a timing change and rejetting the carb a few times the final results were 424 hp at 5200 rpm and 638 pounds of torque at 3000 rpm at the rear wheels. Not bad for a pump gas 499 ci motor that sees lots of street duty. Might make a cam change to get more hp but I think I'm going to try a 150 shot of nitrous first. The car is nice to drive with the mild cam thats in it now, 282/288 525/540. The nitrous would just be for race days.
