Flyfish your right about the cam being to small. I think the head and intake porting have a lot to do with the high torque numbers. I remember another member posting numbers on his BB stroker that sounded very similar to mine. He had less compresion and no head work and it made 548 hp at the flywheel. I don't remember excact torque numbers but less than 600 pounds at the flywheel. So well I don't want to lose the driveability of the car I agree a bigger cam is needed to bring the hp numbers up.
